Who watches "So you think you can Dance?"

I haven't watched it yet, but I don't mind the spoilers.

 

I was cheering for katee, but I'm very happy for joshua too. He is amazing. It's awesome to see a hip hop dancer win.

OK so I'm in Chicago too and the Bears game made SYTYCD delayed until 11 PM. I'm barely staying awake to watch it (15 minutes to go!). Although I already know who has won, I can't turn it off and go to bed.

 

I concur with all of the previous posts:

*the guy from FL should have made the show instead of Gev (I almost boycotted)

* Will was my favorite and I almost cried when he left (almost boycotted again)

* Where was Sabra when they brought back the past dancers?

* I liked this season but I still think last season was the all time best (choregraphy and dancers)

 

I'm so mad I didn't find this thread until the finale but better late than never : )

I loved to boys' Russian dance! It was so technical and I felt it was a new take on "battle". Like Alyssa, I feel like we know they can both do hip-hop.

 

There were several dancers from seasons past that were missing, Danny, Sabra, Jamie, etc.

 

I LOVED that the judges danced! I think it really showed their training and experience. Mary's timing and precision were amazing! She didn't need all of the lifts and tricks to make it a good performance or add filler. Someone challenged the panel to dance next year so that would be fun. I'd love to see Mia and Tabitha and Napoleon perform.

 

I'm glad Katee got something. You know she'll go on to bigger and better things.

 

I was happy for Josh to win. I don't think he expected it.

 

From now on I'm going to have to really watch every dance movie and see if I can pick any of the SYTCYD cast out!

And I saw last night that Blake is one of the judges! EWWW! I remember hating him on season 1. There is no reason to be that cocky and a jackass all the time! I just want to walk up and slap him, talented or not. I would NEVER hire anyone with that much attitude!

Seeing Mary sit at the judges table all the time and occassionally jumping up, I never realized that she looked like that. I don't know what I expected, but I was not expecting her to be that trimmed! Right on.

 

I also liked how Nigel choreographed a few of the group dances this year. I think that also shows that the judges do know what they are doing!

Me either! I don't know if it's because of the clothes she wears, or if it's because she looks busty, but I expected her to have a bit of a heavier frame. She has a great body!
