I called Best Buy and they were able to retrieve everything. So my pics, docs and music are not lost forever. Yay!!!

oh no Yari, I know that feeling girl!! I hope they can recover everything for you...this IT man at my job recovered everything for me, I was beyond estatic esp since I didnt think I would ever see my pics again! I hope you have the same luck!

omg thank god they were able to recover it! Same happened to me not too long ago (we call it the "blue screen of death") and fortunately Best Buy came to the rescue.

I'm glad to hear that you were able to get everything off your laptop. When I got my new comp, I still kept the old one since it had everything on it. I was planning to take it off and transfer it over, but never did. Then one day the mother board decides to die. Thank goodness the local comp guys were able to get everything off and put it on a disk.

I am on my brand new Mac Book, it is very cool. What an improvement from my last one.

 

Yay, everything is on it...including my wedding folder.
