Table runner

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have any info about renting table runners. I'm thinking of maybe doing it in the US and then bringing them with me. Here is a pic of what I'm thinking but red and orange instead of the pink and orange.

Fun and Motivation in Cabo rents linens

Sunset Weddings in Cabo can have then made for you

If you'd like to have the look in the pictues, it looks like a custom job. Most rental companies rent in only one width.

You can recreate by renting in one color and running wide width ribbon down the middle. Double sided tape may be necessary to hold the fabric down depending upon you centerpieces.

Red and orange will be beautiful by the way!!!

That sounds great! I'm all about doing things myself. If I were you... I would check out my local fabric store and see what kind of deal I could get on yards of fabric. Those would be easy to make, even if you can't sew. Before I learned how to sew, I can still only know how to sew a strait line, I used that stitching tape, fabric glue, and even sometimes my glue gun, depending on the fabric. The stitching tape is pretty easy to use. All you have to do is iron a crease in your fabric, open the crease, put the tape inside, close the crease, and iron.

It would probably be about the same or more to rent, I thinkhuh.gif? I know that you can get some great deals on Fabric. If you have a Jo Anns, check there, they always have a HUGE variety of $2.oo per yard fabric. The Walmart by my house always has a good selection too. If you don't want to sew, you can always use pinking shears, it would add a decrative touch, and by using them it prevents fraying!!!

Great idea with the pinking shears Carrie. You can put a sealant on the edges too so they won't unravel. I definitely think making your own would be cheaper than renting in this case. Plus, you can try out the look at home to make sure you like it before you commit to a bunch. I love the colors!
