STD, Invitations, ATW Party

I know this is probably out there somewhere, but I am new with all of this. This is what I wanted to know. I have a TA that is making STD letters with the travel info and I also bought STD magnets to go with the letter. I am wondering if at that point I should make something on a separate sheet of paper saying there is going to be an ATW party when we get back for those that can't come? So if everyone gets the travel info with the dates, do I still need to send out invitations for the wedding? I know I will need to have them for the party because there are other guests that I am inviting that I know won't come to Jamaica with us. Just wondering what you guys did in regards to this. Thanks for your help.

We are doing STDs for those people that we are inviting to the wedding (close friends and famiy), invitations for the same people and then ATW invitations for our reception at home.
