Dress is cute, but I can see how there's some concern for coverage and figure-flatteringness (prob not a word, but oh well is now). The fabric could be a tad clingy also. But, it's so so hard to please everybody when it comes to BM dresses! I was in a wedding where we all had the same color of dress, but chose our own styles. We got tons of compliments! Just a thought, and also some of the pics had that girl wearing a tank type of thing with it also, so another option perhaps? Good luck!

Being in many of my girlfriends weddings and being large chested believe me it is not easy finding a dress to fit well. I would always have to order one or two sizes bigger just to fit in the bust and then have the rest of the dress altered. It doesn't look like this is an option with this dress.

 

What one of my girlfriends did for her wedding was had all of her bridesmaid wear a black dress....any dress they wanted from any place they chose to find it. I was scared you would notice in the pictures as not all black fabrics and colors are the same but you couldn't even tell. I thought it was one of the best ideas as all the girls felt great, found a dress to fit them perfectly and also brought out their own personalities. She brought in color with the bouquets...the color of her wedding was purple. Another way to bring color if you choose to go with black dresses is to give each girl a pashmina of the color of your wedding that way you color can be incorporated all around. And also color can be added with jewelry.

Oh and if she needs a good bra, I swear Nordstrom is the best place ever. I am large chested and this was the only place where I could find a good bra, even a strapless!

Also if she is really large chested, some bra's meant to help large busted women wear the cute little halters and bandeau style dresses end up after about 20 minutes making them look like they have mono-boob. I used to have an extremely large chest (beyond DD) and I never would have been able to get away with that dress regardless of how cute it is.

 

I'd choose a color, get a swatch of the color am material you like, divide it up in three and ask that they try to match it.

 

She'd probably be able to get away with this style: Alfred Angelo... Find the perfect Wedding Dress, Bridesmaid Dress, Prom Dress, Flower Girl Dress or Mother of the Bride Dress at Alfred Angelo.

 

Or something like this if you could alter it to have straps for just her: Alfred Angelo... Find the perfect Wedding Dress, Bridesmaid Dress, Prom Dress, Flower Girl Dress or Mother of the Bride Dress at Alfred Angelo.

First I have to say SORRY!! I never clicked on the part one or two on the site. I agree those pictures are completely unacceptable and if I had seen them I never would have been interested in this dress. I am also writing them to complain. I had only clicked on the other views and watched the video. So if I offended anyone I apologize.

Second you ladies were a great help!! I decided that I will pick a colour and the two ladies here can get the dress but in a different shade. For example the dress comes in three blues three purples three greens. So if I pick blue they can each pick a different shade, my BM in Afghantstan can pick up her own dress in a different shade of blue and everyone is happy!! Thank you so much for your help. I am not large chested so I don't always see things from that point of view.

Hey chica, I can TOTALLY relate... two of our groomsmen live in Europe, while the others are stateside. We just told them all to get khaki colored linen suits. LOL. I know it's going to be hella interesting.

 

I say to just get the dress anyway and see how it fits. Is she by any chance your maid of honor? My maid of honor, my sister, is wearing a different dress than the rest of my bridesmaids...

 

I am sorry and I understand how difficult it can be when everyone is all over the place.

I wasn't offended just in case you read my post that way. I was disgusted by the COMPANY...not you for posting a link to their website. I wrote them an email noting that it is one of the most unprofessional slideshows I have ever seen. It looks like a slutty 15 year olds myspace page. Did you guys notice that even the dress has stains on it in the second slideshow? WTH- that doesn't exactly look good when you are trying to SELL the dress. Ok rant over.

I hope you are able to work out the dress dilemna. It will be the last thing on your mind come wedding day.

I didn't think anyone was too offended, but those types of pics have no place on our forum.

Here is the letter I wrote them. I think I worded it nice enough that they make take me seroiusly.

"I was very interested in your RSA8339 Cotton Spandex Jersey Bandeau Dress. I plan to use it as my bridesmaid dresses for my down south wedding this winter. I think it great. Especially since it can be worn so many ways, making it ideal to fit different body types. I love the fact it comes in many colours. I also recently read in a eco friendly book that your company is a fair trade company and that is great and I love to support those types of companies. Here is my concern...on the page where this dress is posted (on your site) if you click on Part one and Part two the picutres are awful. The model you have looks like she is 15 years old and drunk. You can even see part of her nipple in one picture. And you can see her nipples through the white shirt she wears. Not to mention it makes the dress look cheap. The dress is good, I have gone to see it in the store, but these pictures, I am sorry to say, would make me not want to buy it. The other phots of the models in the different colours and the video looks professioanl and showcase the dress well. I would recomend you remove those from the site as they hurt you more then anything and will offend some."
