It make me so happy to know that she can go potty now. Im sure she is still in pain but not nearly as much... hope you got enough donations to take care of the little thing. Keep us updated, I would love to hear how the little guys doing.

Just received this email from the foster mom of Beate

"This is a new photo of the six week old girl. She had a bad weekend. Had me very worried! But, she pulled through and is doing great. Terrorizing the other dogs and eating good.

She is a kissing boston. Might just have to ship her to the next kissing booth event. lol"

Isn't she just the cutiest thing ever?

Oh she is so cute! How many weeks are left until they will be able to perform surgery? Financially, are they anywhere near the $ goal to be able to provide the surgery?? Just wondering - I could probably donate a little at a time... just let me know if they need some extra help!

I think about Beate often...

Just a quick update, I met Beate Saturday night while picking up our current foster.. OMG you guys she is adorable, she is about 3 pounds right now and has to eat baby food because they are trying to get her to gain weight faster. She has to be helped to go poo, meaning you have to massage that area to stimulate it. When she is just being held you need to hold a towel under her butt because she leaks poo without knowing.

The donations the rescue has raised for her surgery so far was $850.00 so $50.00 less then what the emergency vet bill was and we still need $1700.00 for her actual surgery when she's 10-12 weeks old. (she's 6 1/2 weeks now) Cain and I are doing an adoption event this weekend and hope to raise more money for her then.

Oh and I was going to take pictures but it was too dark outside. Sorry..

*** UPDATE ***

It is with heavy heart that Beate passed away today at 3:12. I don't know a lot of details, as the foster mom that was caring for her is having back surgery tomorrow. Were guessing it was from an infection.

For those of you that made a donation to her THANK YOU.. Your donation will still be put to good use as we have another foster in our rescue group with a simiar problem (but 4yrs old) that is also needing surgery so we are going to put that money to help her "Deede"
