I kinda get the "offensive" part- not that I'm offend. I too did a "joke" of a legal wedding and I didn't want to piss off people thinking I was ruining the sanctity of marriage. I quickly got over that though.

 

We got married in Vegas too but at a drive thru chapel in a taxi cab. The driver was one of our witnesses. We were wasted though. LOL

 

I wish we had dressed up. That would have been fun. The photos are too cute too.

your so right- the sanctity of marriage. the couple before us, a young couple, had their wedding dress and suit on. my moh kept telling us to stop laughing and making jokes- like "wow, when did you start speaking english?" and respect the other couples there that were aboviously taking it seriously. but during the ceremony- she couldn't stop laughing, like doubled over laughing, snorting and all..... it was hilarious
