Do any of you have Maria Fay for a wedding coordinator? I was wondering how she was.. I used to have Cecile and she was great so I am worried this lady will not live up to that standard.

Love it!  My sister swears that i will just want to wear my wedding dress again, and really I have the opportunity to wear it twice, so will probably just do that.  Do brides wear their dresses again at the AHR??  I hope so!
 

Ya, we are going to go dress shopping on Thursday.  Just want to make sure I am not missing out on something!  I love that dress but am not sold on the corset back, altho the lady assured me they are amazing for your figure, so maybe that will win me over.  Doesn't help that I tried it on in size 14 and the whole back was clipped up so hard to tell what it will look like. 

 

Haha... I misunderstood. I LOVE the short dress for your legal ceremony. Have fun dress shopping!!!

I wore my dress for my AHR and am so glad I did!  Not only did it give me the guilty pleasure of getting to wear my dress again and have everyone ooh and aah, but our friends really seemed to appreciate it since they didn't get to be at the actual wedding.  It made them feel like they were more a part of it.

How long did it take after getting a date confirmation to get assigned a wedding coordinator?  I'm still anxiously awaiting and I have soo many questions!!

Hey girls,

 

Was looking to get an opinion on this dress.  I think it's the perfect color, totally cute, inexpensive, and to top it off it's ID number is the same as my FI's work ID - mean to be!  But, one of my BM's said it's not very beachy.  I think it looks like a BM's dress though. 

 

Thoughts???

Oh, and I have two 13 year olds as junior bridesmaids and I think the dress fits both age groups.  Right?  I had considered a printed dress for them but then changed my mind.  I want the flowers to stand out more.

 what i wish i had known which i only found out after i did the trip was some exotic traveler membership thing which you get the tour and they try to get you to buy with them, but if you know someone with it they can recommend you to take the tour so its like a friends package and you dont have to buy but you do take the 2 hour tour when ever you want BUT and i stress but YOU GET 50% OFF THE ROOM HOTEL RATE.

 

 

Hey girls, sorry I’m not on here much, but I had to chime in on Julia’s comment (hopefully I figured out how to "quote" correctly!) …My fiance and I actually joined Exotic Travelers during our site visit in March!  It just made sense to join for our wedding/honeymoon, then we will use it for traveling for many years to come.  If any of you are planning a site visit before your wedding, I’d be more than happy to let you use my “Friends in Paradise”.  I wouldn’t recommend using it during your wedding since there is a 2 hour tour, but if your interested in going anytime before that it will save you 50%!  Just let me know if your interested and I’ll send let you know the details.
