Hey Maggie! I tried to look at these and I got a "System Error." After giving it three tries, I had no luck. Maybe you can do the photbucket thingy if others cannot see them as well? I have blue and pink together! My bridesmaids dress color is blue and all the flowers are pink and white. I don't have any inspiration board together (I am too lazy). I'm sure they will work that kink out though in due time because everybody loves their ticker's, even the moderators who have been married for years and are now counting down their second or third pregnancy. LOL

 

Your bouquet choice is beautiful and I like the pink speckles in the white flower. What is that type of flower called? I've seen a fire and ice rose that looks similar, but never one that has that tropical look. Pretty!

Love the dress! The suits for the men looks lovely and will go great with the girls sage dresses.

As for the flowers...if you are going with the antique feel, I would go with the muted tones. Maybe add a touch of the lilacs to your bouquet to tie in with the decor.

That's all I had, I requested all white flowers and natural greens for the hanging flowers on the chuppah thing on the Sky Deck and white rose petals down the aisle and it was gorgeous. I think we have similar tastes

Also, the reception seating is best figured out on site. I struggled with this for weeks and Kiara even made me seating chart options to give me a better idea BUT she also told me I had to have square tables and when I got there, they told me they would be round tables... which I preferred anyways so it worked out for the best.

That stinks. I am really concerned about the seating chart because we will have about 70 guests and many won't know one another. I want people to feel comfortable so I wanted to assign them at tables with people that they know. I suppose they do hav a few days to make friends though. 

 

Did you have table cards? I am using photo frames with place cards as we are doing a make-shift photo booth section and the frames will fit the photos, hence place cards and favors in one. Maybe I can just each table member's photo frame with placard lined up together and I can put a table number flat on the table in front of that row. Wow, I hope that makes sense when you read it. For a professional communicator sometimes I have real issues.

I love the gold ribbon! Everything is going to be gorgeous Amanda. I love your theme/feel of your wedding. Its going to be so romantic... Kind of like a MidSummer Nights Dream kind of feel. My sister had a wedding like that and it was amazing. Just thinking about it makes me feel all warm and lovey.

I like the Wedding wire bouquet best. I think just a small hint of purple here and there as an accent will really bring out the green you have chosen. And honestly I don't think green and white needs much accent.

Are you going to do seating cards (I forget their formal name)? I think gold calligraphy hand written names would look really nice and go with your theme.

THANKS so much! You think that the green and white will work? Ah, that makes me feel better. Maybe the lilac running the aisles will be enough. And maybe I can request a touch of purple in my bouquet and BM's can have the all white and green. I guess I'll have to wait and see what the quoted Lomas comes back with are like. I wish I felt comfortable sending them pictures of two bouquets and saying, "merge these" or saying "can you add a hint of purple" to the white and green bouquet but I am scared of what I will see when I get them. Honestly, I know that the flowers are going to look spectacular because all of yours did (better than the photos you sent to Lomas actually) but I am bit of a control freak. Not that I need to have an exact thing but there are some things that I just don't want. I am fearful that's exactly what I will get. So I figure better to furnish them with photos and asking them to duplicate.

I know. I am sure it is like 1 million times better I am just getting down to crunch time and hate to have to learn it all over again. I am just so glad that it's back. I freaked out earlier today when I saw that it was being redone. I really assumed it was going to be down for a week or so. They ladies did a great job getting it done so quickly.

That stinks...but usually not the case. I have ordered a few things through them and the promotions have ben pretty true. You'll always have to pay for shipping thought.

I KNOW!!! So sad. I still don't have a profile pic. The ticker was all that I had. Now I will have to look at theknot.com to find out how many days until my wedding. Since I found this forum, I haven't really used that site. This one is so much more helpful thanks to all of you.

I think this is best done once you're down there and can see the layout.  They shouldn't need to know ahead of time.

I did and my stylist was Monica.  I loved her!  I brought inspiration pics and she did an amazing job.  You can read more details in my review under my siggy.  (Don't worry about the fact that I was married at AB.  Monica works at AS as well)

YES!!!  I am finding this extremely challenging.  I'm sure I'll get used to it but right now it's frustrating.  And I agree with BigBop and Chong that it SUCKS that now we can't see people's wedding dates and other info.

I tried theknot's forums a couple times and found them to be very difficult and not user-friendly.  LOL then again, I thought that about this one when I first joined!

I agree with everyone that it will be awesome in the end.  and the ladies here must have TOTALLY worked their butts off to make this major overhaul.  It looks great.    (But I still fear the change.  hahaha)

Not from what I've seen so far.  I'll keep you posted if my WC manages to work anything out for us.  I'm VERY frustrated by it because it feels like we get no deals, despite the fact that usually Canadians have to pay more to travel etc.  Sigh.... like I said - will update you if I hear any good news.

Thanks! I am in LOVE with my bouquet choice. I hope the resort can make the bouquet just like it or better. The flower is called white cymbidium orchid with pink in the middle - ha... at least that's how I described it.
