Bahahahahahaha!!! Seriously, these people are crazy. I'm bringing fake flowers too. $24 for 3 bouquets and 2 bouts... that's a lot better than $200 for something that I didn't even want.

I think I am going to go the silk flower route as well. I can get the real touch silk flowers custom made and they are still way less than what the resort is asking. Plus the quotes I'm getting for real flowers for my home fiesta has been silly expensive. At least with silks I can reuse them.

 

Kitten - thank you so much for all of your recommendations on the real touch silks. Have you decided who you are going to go with?

 

Oh and girls, I am starting to freak out a little. I am getting married just smacked me in the face a few days ago!!

Hi girls!!! I should be finalizing my decision with AS this weekend!!!!! YAAAAAY! I cannot wait to join the thread! I am looking at July 17th. I have looked at those weather websites, but they are all saying it has only rained once in like 10 years. That's hard for me to believe. Do you guys have a better website? My bridal shower had be freaking out but it was way early so I'm back to being ok now.

Yes - I found a picture online and sent it to my WC in hopes that they could reproduce it. She said it was no problem. Quote was $571 for the exact same thing for 40-45 people. I did ask for that in writing though - in case they totally botch it....

Has anyone who has gotten married already used caribe photo or does anyone else have them booked? I'm having a photographer crisis and may have to use them as a last resort.... I'm wondering how they are and what the reviews have been like?

Just got my STDs (a little behind the eight ball, I know) and am SOO excited! I love love love love them and wanted to share with some people who might enjoy them as the fiatch (my personal term of endearment for FH) just can't appreciate them like we do I think the front of the STD is now my avatar but can't seem to be able to post it in my signature... oh well!! Wooohoo after weeks of negotiating with the resort, finally-- the fun part!!

I'm going down for a site visit on Wednesday. Anyone need me to take pictures of anything specific? I'm so excited to finally see it! They are trying to charge us for a tasting which I find ridiculous considering a) it's an all-inclusive resort not a single place I've ever heard of charges for tastings after you're booked the wedding!

 

 

I'm trying to put our save the date as my avatar as well but it's not working ... hopefully I"ll figure out how to get all the pictures up!
