I just received an email from Jo'Zeen; no plaza. So, the only two options for larger groups is inside or the beach, which is ridiculous. Not sure what I'm going to do, but am considering switching places.

I am so curious as to WHY this is? Anyone get an official reason? This resort more than frustrates me. The plaza looks as if it were designed with weddings in mind.

Were very similar in our size, we are having 28 guests. Our wedding ceremony is at 5:30 on the beach, cocktail hour on the beach as well not sure where on the beach then recp. at zocola. Were super excited.
For music we have a friend who is a DJ made up tons of cd's broken down for cocktail hour, dinner, then party. We renting the amp w microphone, and one of our good friends and BM are making annoucements, we thought it was intimate that way plus such a small group.
We just hope that the amp is good.
We have it for everything.

We arrive on the 20th do you as well?

hello bree, I see that you are getting married in azul sensatori on october 10 wow im gettin married on the 11 of october the next day from you, how is the planning going on? how many guests are you having?

I just talked with Tiffany and she said that the hotel is building a new area for weddings and should be done in 3 weeks. She said that this area replaces the plaza. I am going to see if I can get more information on what this will look like. When I hear from her I will let you know what I find out.

Hi Ladies,

Jo'Zeen just emailed me the exact same thing. She won't allow me to book it for my wedding though because she's not for sure when it will be complete.

For those girls going down soon (if it's not too much to ask) if you could find out where this new location is and bring back a pic or two, that would be great! I know you'll have plenty of things to do while you're down there for your own wedding and this is the least of your worries, but it would really help to know what this location looks like and where it is located within the resort.

We can't wait to hear all about your weddings! Have so much fun!!!!

When I there they were contructing a big place on the beach that looked similar to the beach cabanas, or the covered area for yoga, but much much larger. Maybe that's going to be the new location? It was in front of the premium section on the opposite side of the beach from the ceremony location. Pure speculation... but if it's going to be there, I think it'd be nice! They were building it pretty tall!
