@@linaco80 we are hitting up the Mojito Lounge after the ceremony too, @@BecomingaRiggio I like your wording suggestion! We are going to have a wedding day timeline in our OoT bags for our guests.

 

@@BecomingaRiggio the flowers by Lomas at the weddings I saw at the BDR were lovely, but they were so expensive. Because our reception is outside and starts at 6PM we are just doing lanterns and tealights. By the time our reception begins it will be almost completely dark.

Where are you renting the vases/tealights/lanterns? I cannot see those options at the Lomas website, I am looking for vases to put shells, water and a submersible light (I don't know what I will end up doing because I can't find the vases I am looking for)

Definitely possible, I like your idea!, but I recommend yo to make sure you find the vases first...are those real touch? they can get pricey too. I can't find the vases I am looking for

I'm not seeing just the vases listed anymore, so you'll need to ask Lomas about them. For my wedding (forever ago..sigh) we rented the tall cylinder vases for $30 each. Not really cheap..but way better than $100 per centerpiece for something more elaborate. They have them - they show them in the flower section, under centerpieces. they are shown here with the candles and more deco items, like BC18 and BC27. So I'd just ask about renting the vases.

@@linaco80 I'm sure @@AllieH is correct, there are way more item available from Lomas than on their website, which is silly. When I was at the BDR they had a bunch of display items that I could not find on their online catalogue.I have some photos in my gallery if you want to take a look.

 

I send pics of the BDR items I liked to my wedding coordinator (Brigitte) and she got the prices for me. They were still too expensive for us! $50 to rent one lantern! We have ten tables so that was just not something we could do. 

 

I thought I would maybe use the "beach lanterns" which are $5, but they are super small (15cm)

 

I'm renting some items from Love & Lace Wedding Decor, you can find them on Facebook or email the owner Katy at [email protected] and she will send you a dropbox link with her items.

Bringing vases might be a pain you know where LOL I am scared to break them but I am not discarding that either, I am working with Katy too but  I really need to clear my mind with what I want because I am confused...too  many options and we are far from the destination to really get what we want. I will do a sample of my vase idea and take it from there, if this does not work I will just go simpler and avoid stress.

@@Ybonilla - so exciting!  I have my room block done last week and save the dates went out yesterday.  Already have 2 couples who booked their rooms!   Have you picked your ceremony and reception locations already?

 

I'm actually trying to get into the April BDR if not then will definitely be at the June one.  I'm a very visual person too so I really need to see things in order to get the decor ideas straight in my head.

 

Next up are photographers and a dj.
