Thank you. That's a great idea!

Is Zocalo closer than Mojito? Do you think one would be better than the other?

Mojitos is upstairs and off the lobby, Zocalo Terrace is directly off the beach in between buildings 2 and 3. Depending on where your ceremony is, and whether you want to get out of the sun and indoors for a while, would also be a factor. During the day Mojitos is very empty and run with limited staff... So if this is your destination maybe mention this to your onsite planner when you meet so they can ensure they have staff there to welcome your guests.

@@raqpena r you getting the free catamaran? if you do I know you can do a cocktail hour prior to hop on the boat...day catamaran then it would be a snack  and if you go at sunset then you can take it as cocktail hour. You cannot use it on the catamaran while you are on board lol because they want you to buy another private event...figure!

These pic is from Murmel's thread and think helps everyone...post-277499-0-95290000-1420236779_thumb.jpg

@@linaco80 thank you for sharing those pics of the lights connecting lights to gazebo to the tree. I like that idea since it will help with light on tables.

Has anyone used floating lights in the pool at plaza zavas?

I have found some sites with floating lights since lomas over charges for them.

You can definitely do the floating candles.,. Just ensure whatever brand you buy comes with anchor weights since there is a significant "current" at this end of the pool and your decorations will float away otherwise!

No you do not have to pay the vendor fee because it will be the same as if you brought it from home..vendor fee would be for flowers, DJ, makeup, and other services

If this thread was not this long I would tell you where we were talking about that exact topic a few months ago (floating candles)

I ordered some paper lanterns from paperlanternstore.com. These are the colors I am using and might mix in some white or rose quartz from lunabazaar.com The orange is not the orange I am looking for so I am ordering another orange from lunabazaar.com. I ordered 20inch, 16inch and 12inch. Not sure I am a fan of the 20 inch and might replace it with 14 inch so there is only 2 inch difference in the sizes. Also resting against the orange lantern are the fans I will have at each place setting at the reception and these fans come with an organza baggy that has a thank you tag. I will place LED throwies in these too. Once I make those I will post ;)
