Hi Ladies

I am wanting to buy sheers for the ceremony on the beach and wanted to see if anyone knows what size the sheers need to be.

Thanks! :)

There are a ton of suggestions on where to buy the fabric a few pages back in this forum ( read from beginning- guilty as charged!)... But local fabric stores or online have great deals.

@Cj1053 Amazon sells them, one bride on here found hers on it.. search on this thread and i bet you'll find it easily. I'm obsessed with Amazon right now--welcome bags for the guests is my current project and they have soooo many things I want to put in them! (sample size Advil, pepto, etc!)

I think we have a few BDw sensatori brides having their big day coming up in the next weeks/ I can't imagine how excited/nerve racking that must feel but I can't wait for you to report back! It sounds like most everyone's stress in dealing with the Florida planners and organizing from afar goes away once you are on sure with the local WC!

I have less than 6 weeks until we leave for Cancun.  Final payment to Karisma is due next Friday but I don't have a final invoice yet.  My Miami based planner was very responsive earlier but lately she has been slow to respond.  Thank goodness my TA/Destination Wedding Planner is on top of everything.  She's helped me a lot to understand options and get things done.  I figure Karisma will get around to sending the invoice soon since I am sure they want their money. I'm not going to worry about it

However, I am worried about my wedding dress. I bought it over a year ago and have gained about 10-12 pounds that I can't seem to get off.  I'm excercising and trying to diet but so far only a couple of pounds off.  It's very discouraging.  :(

I've started backing up the decorations and making the final things for the OOT bags.  I am so grateful for all of the information about Mexican customs and how to carry my wedding dress I've found on the BDW forums.  I'm making lists of everything purchased that will not come back with me and putting copies of all receipts in each bag plus keeping the originals in a folder that I'll carry on.  I bought the Wally 66 bag from Amazon for carrying on my dress and his suit.  It got very good reviews plus I heard from another bride who bought it and tested it out on a business trip.

So, yes!  I am very excited!!!

You should check out Staples.com for the Advil and Tylenol.  It's quite a bit cheaper than Amazon. Plus I found the best price for pepto and a couple of other items on minimus.biz.

Has anyone hired a videographer through Azul?  Do you have a suggestion on length of time to hire the videographer?

I ran this question past my wedding planner at Azul and she said this:

For the Videographer…I’m thinking a 3 hour package? I want them to take some of me getting ready, the ceremony and the reception. Is this enough time in your opinion? Or too much? I don’t think it will be too much if you want everything mentioned above. If you want to capture the reception though, you may need to pay a waiting fee to break up the time since the video hours must be continuous. For example, if you begin video at 2:30pm to capture getting ready – it will be finished by 5:30pm, before your reception starts. The waiting fee is $50usd per each hour (or less). This would be paid directly onsite, in cash to the videographer.

In regards to the videographer... Depends on ur timeline of events. I had my videographer for 3 hours (I used Cancun wedding videos) filming started at 4pm for getting ready.

5:00 for ceremony

5:30-6:30 we had cocktail hour/ pictures. Our photo session was recorded

6:30- reception

We were announced as mr and mrs then went into the first dance.

That was all I cared to get. I didn't care about recording the speeches or other dances (however I believe our guy stayed a bit overtime and got some extras) so time frame depends on u. You make the schedule of events.
