Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Thanks. I will make sure we have at least 2 hours for the photos. Carib Photo seems to be the cheapest option. Did you use them?
We used Caribe for our photos. We thought he did a wonderful job. We picked Caribe because of the quality of photos for the time of day for the wedding. It was around sunset. His seemed to be the best for the lighting that you have at that time.

How much time do most people need for photos? I am trying to decide on one of the photo packages. One hour doesn't seem enough but 4 hours is very expensive. Opinions, please.
I think you will definitely want more than an hour... We had 7 hours and it was great because she got shots of me getting ready with my bridesmaids, then did a first look with my husband and I , then a bunch with family and bridal party, the ceremony, then during cocktail hour we did a bunch of just my husband and I , and 2 hours of the reception so I had a whole bunch of different locations which was awesome.. An hour goes by fast so u might be disappointed with just that!

Hi Ladies, I am getting married August 31, 2013 and I am trying to purchase my decorations. For the chair sashes, are they supposed to be organza or satin? I am bringing alot of decorations myself and I will just pay the 250 dollar set up fee. I know when you go thru customs you are supposed to show receipts but most of the stuff I am ordering online, will this be a problem? Do I need to print the email confirmations? Also what type of fabric do I need for the Gazebo on the sky deck and what size fabric do I get? And Finally what length christmas lights do I get for the poles at Zavaz Plaza for the reception. Oh and one more thing...I ordered the Chinese hanging lanterns. If I have Christmas lights on the 6 poles do I still need the lights inside of the hanging lanterns?  I know I am asking alot of questions. I am so last minute and trying ti know everything out this month. Thank you guys for any help that you can provide
Hi! So we got 6 strings of Christmas lights that were 25ft each and they worked great!! I would def still get the lights for the lanterns they just make the lanterns look so much prettier!! We used black organza bows on the reception chairs with the white satin chair covers they provide and we used bright pink organza bows on the ceremony chairs and I really liked the way it looked a lot. Also I would bring recipes for everything as a just in case I just kept them in a folder so I would have easy access to them while going trough customs hope this helps!

Hi Leah! I'm getting married the same weekend! April 25, 2014. We should connect and discuss. Maybe we could split some of the outside vendor fees? I've heard of some other people on this thread doing that, although I'm not sure how it would work since we are different days. We should definitely talk though - if you're interested. Might be helpful for both of us. :)

Hi Ladies!  Our group contract 30 days is up today and we already have about 40+ people coming to Mexico!  cheesy.gif

We are getting married on May 3, 2014 at the Azul Sensatori... I know that I have a bride twin....Does anyone know who that might be?!?!

So excited to begin the planning of all the decor elements and start shopping for dresses.  This is so exciting and we are really overwhelmed by the amount of support from our friends and families.  Looking forward to getting lots of input and info from all of the ladies on the forum... It's been a huge help already!

14 days until my wedding day and 12 days left until we leave!! I had my first nightmare last night about missing the plane and issues at the airport! I am starting to get sooo excited and am hoping the weather holds out for us. I called the airline to give them a heads up about about my dress and they did not seem to know what to do. They told me my dress would be considered my carry on, not my personal item and I would only have a place to store it if the plane has a closet(which they could not tell me) and if the airline stewardesses were accommodating. I was a little annoyed by this. They even suggested I put it in a box and put it in with checked luggage!! I was appalled! Can any other bride share there plane experience with me so I know what to expect. Thanks ladies!

Yes, your dress is your carry-on, which means you can take one additional item to put under your seat.

I was first on the plane and the flight attendants offered to put my dress in the first class closet. There was only one other bride on the plane and her dress fit in the closet as well, but I don't think either of ours were especially poufy. If you're flying from a large city, the gate agents likely will not care that you're getting married or allow you special treatment as they see brides daily. It may be worth considering an upgrade, depending on the airline, so that you can get to an overhead bin before they're full. Most people will try to accommodate you though.

As my wedding day gets closer I have started to check the weather like a mad woman. Right now it's not looking good for me = ( they are showing rain 3 days leading up to the wedding and rain on my wedding day. I'm hoping it will change beings that it is 15 days out, but do any brides know of alternative ceremony locations at the resort? I never really asked, I have seen reception locations but not ceremony locations. Ugh I will be soooooo bummed if it rains the whole trip!! I'm not the type of bride who minds rain, just not every single day!
