Ladies, I have to share my music solution with you. I've been hard at work at my wedding playlists since we're not doing a DJ. I'm a freelance iPhone app reviewer and I came across one called My WeddingDJ https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/my-weddingdj/id383243064?mt=8 So far it's great and definitely worth the $2! You just pop in the tracks you want under the preset categories, like pre ceremony or first dance, or you can create your own categories.  The interface is super simple and since your playlists are stored in the app, there's no chance of the wrong song playing and you set the order of when music comes up. All the operator has to do is slide the bar to start. You can also select the option for waiting time in between moments. When you end a song or skip to the next the app also will crossfade it for you so you don't have do any of that work on the front end in iTunes. It also looks like there's an option for the app to take requests from your iTunes library during your reception, but I haven't started playing with that yet.  Some of the reviews said there was an issue with DRM coded music, but since most of my songs are pre DRM or from Amazon, I can't tell if that's still an issue. Anyway, if you're bringing down your own setup or want to provide your own music for ceremony, I definitely recommend checking this out.
Thanks SO much for sharing this, my fiancé will be thrilled!! Such an easy way to organize the music! 1 week until we leave!! Eeek!

has anyone decided on the flowers they're using (in particular brides who are getting married in march-ish springtime)? i just found out a lot of the flowers i lvoe aren't in season while we're there!

I will tell you the wedding coordinators are amazing when it comes to flowers.  My coordinator, Odette, wasn't happy with the way the flowers I had picked out were looking lately, they just weren't really open and beautiful she said, so she had them make up the bouquet I ordered and then another bouquet in the same color scheme (mine was white, so that was simple) and gave them both to me and let me pick the one I liked better.  She also added more flowers to my bridemaids bouquets because of the same reason....and I also was doing a flower in my hair and instead of corsages for my mom and FI's mom....once again...she brought me twice the number of flowers so I could choose the ones I liked best.  Both of my bridesmaids ended up with flowers in their hair too since we had so many extra!  She did all of this at no extra charge!!

Hi Brides!

Wondering if anyone has recently booked DJ Doremixx? I read through some of the threads on here, and it looks like some previous brides back from early 2012 were able to book him and pay the outside vendor fee. However, I asked my WC Lynda and she said that they do not permit outside DJ services. What's this all about? Any input would be helpful! Thanks!!

thanks - i don't know a lot about flowers, but fyi it looks like there are some calla lilies in that bouquet, and i know that those aren't available in march so it's extra to get those imported (according to WC, which is different than what website says) - but roses areavailable. very pretty!

What? Weird! She is wrong. Unless the policy has changed very recently, they do allow outside DJ services, you just have to pay the vendor fee. I booked DJ Doremixx for my June 28 wedding and my WC added it to my detail sheet. I would definitely look into that further. Good luck!

Thank you both! I followed up with her and asked if this was a recent change in their policies. Hopefully she is wrong because I was really looking forward to booking this DJ.
