How  about Zankyou.com - They only charge 2.85% + 1.35 per transaction.  So man different ones.. Need advice please.

http://www.honeyfund.com/  this is the one I saw...it looks GREAT.  Says there are no set up fees or transaction fees.  I'm not using it, so I don't know anything first hand, had just seen it in a bridal magazine and had made note of it.  Hope this helps!

I'm such a procrastinator!!!  We're getting married next Sunday and we're leaving in 2 days and I need to get some opinions on tipping!!!!  Do I tip the DJ, Photographer, and WC?  Is there anyone else involved with the wedding that needs to be tipped?  The tip is included for our reception so I'm not worried about that, it's mostly the DJ and WC I  need to know about.  Help!  it's all starting to feel real!

We didn't have a DJ, so can't help there. We flew the photographer down with us, and once we were home and had our photos, we mailed a thank-you card and a gift card.

As for down in Mexico, we tipped our WC (we had 2 working together...I want to say we gave them an envelope with a thank you card and a tip inside). And we tipped throughout the week to the assorted bartenders and waiters. (usually we find a bartender who will be around for the day, and tip them at the start of the day. And a little extra at the end of the day. That way I don't have to carry soggy dollar bills with me everywhere LOL. As for dinner, I think we would usually leave a few dollars to $5 (depending on good service) under the plate. Don't forget to leave a dollar for the maid and a few bucks in the fridge for the beer guy!

Hope that helps! And if you can, take lots of singles down with you. They usually can't break larger bills, so it's always nice to have the smaller bills with you.

Jana, we pretty much tipped everyone - the WCs, the DJ, the servers and bartenders at our 2 private events, as well as bartenders and servers throughout our whole trip. The service they give at the private events is amazing, and they do it so happily....they definitely deserved tips. The waiters/bartenders that stay late for your reception are the same ones that will greet you very early the next morning at breakfast.....they work very hard, around the clock. Most all-inclusive places tell you that you don't need to tip anyone, that it is all included, so it is really a personal choice. Congratulations and ENJOY!!

I really find your posts to be helpful, but I was wondering if you could just tell me if you think I can do 35 people in the Divine package (w/ the extra charge pp) for about $6,000 using everything on that package, with the AMP for music/playlists and possibly an outside photographer??  Also, when the say 'cocktail hour' does that really include drinks?

Hey ladies! I've been back for a couple weeks now and I'm having serious withdrawal! We had such an amazing time. I would like to thank everyone on here for all your help and info! I couldn't have pulled it off without you. I'll get my planning journal/review on here within the next few weeks. I'm just waiting on a few more pictures but here's a couple to start with.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
