Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Does anyone have a breakdown on floral arrangement costs? I remember reading something about the elevated costs at the resort... and I am just curious what range we were talking about .... Currently i am thinking peonies, orchids, and hydranges... but..the orchids may go depending on price...

Hey Ash,

I chose the pearl package.  I couldn't really see the benefit of the others, and I am still holding a private event.  we are using the reservations at another time instead!  I hope this helps!

Can you still hold a private banquet with the Pearl package? I have asked my WC, but I am sure you ladies will be much faster than her at responding!

Thank you Ladies!

Hey Laura,

You can go to the Lomas travel site to get an idea.  they are pretty expensive.  I am using my centerpieces twice, to justify it, and the orchids are so pricey.  here is a pic of my bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets.  Mine is 200(250 minus the free flowers) and the girls are 80.  I am doing the high centerpieces, that are actually a part of the set up and decorations sections.  They are meant to be on the beach, and we are going to use it there and on the tables.  hope this helps!

Ladies, today is the day we are going to the court house to legally sign our marriage license. We are both a little nervous as we don't really know what to expect and wish that we could just do it all the same day down in Mexico. But none the less we are excited, not doing anything crazy or even taking pictures. We want our wedding day to be the day we celebrate and make everything official in our minds :)

Quick question for all you past and future brides out there. Are you getting a DJ? I think I may just want to spring fro the Amplifier for $250. Does it come with a microphone?

Thanks guys.

The $250 Amp does come with a microphone. We had quite a few speeches and this really worked well. Also, if you give them an Ipod with a "dinner playlist", "dancing playlist", bouquet toss", "first dance", etc. They will make sure to play it at the correct time. There was actually a hotel employee who sat behind the amp the whole night, and made sure to play our dinner music, etc. and would then fade the music when our MC or guests came up to speak. When the speech was done the music would come back on. (so not really a DJ, but more than I was expecting)

Happy "legal" wedding day! We did the same thing, made no big deal of it, and truly consider Mexico our Wedding! Have fun.love.gif

Miriam?  any other past brides that did a private reception....

I want to send out a card (as you did Miriam) in your pre-travel mail out, but they need everyones entree choice 45 days before the wedding????  really?  I would have to send my mail out like, ....yesterday!!!

You will need to choose one appetizer and one dessert for all of your guests to have.  You are able to choose 2 Entrées for your guests to choose from however, you must provide me with me with the entrée count 45 days prior to your wedding day.  You will also need to provide the staff with entrée indicators so that they can determine who has which entrée.

Only the website...(lomas travel-weddings) under bouquets.....but I have heard many brides send pics of what they want and they do it for them.
