Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

we're having the symbolic ceremony at the resort. We ran to the courthouse last week to knock out the legal stuff. Even though that will legally be our wedding day, I consider the May date at Azul to be my wedding date--the day that my father walks me down the aisle, I wear the white (well, ivory, but you get the point!) dress, and when my friends and family are there to celebrate. Some people had a problem with this, but it's what worked best for us. And if there is one thing I have learned in this whole wedding process, we have to do what we want, otherwise we would drive ourselves crazy trying to please everyone!

I love this as a reading or in some way put into the wedding....it makes me weepy!!

One woman, one man

with hearts so true

come before you

to say I do...

A love so fair

A dream come true

A couple shares

what they are destined to do

He takes her hand

to have and to hold

Their hearts embrace

and never let go...

A touch so pure

A smile so real

She closes her eyes

so she may feel

The love of one man

The love of her life

They join as one

as Man and Wife...

Katie, I did know about the blood tests but no idea about the pregnancy part. wow. That would suck.

Here is a weird thing, I was looking at the special offers at Azul and they said for the honeymoon package you have to provide a copy of your marriage license to prove your wedding date was w/in 30 days (not the year - just month and date) of your trip. So, now I am all freaking out that things like that will happen in the future and I'll have to celebrate my legal wedding date and not the Mexico one. weird, huh?!
I never heard the pregnancy thing before and I didn't see that on the list of things they were looking for.... strange.

You just have to provide the marriage license to get the deal. It's basically so that not anyone can just call up and say "hey I got married, give me a deal". THey want proof. So don't worry, this doesn't affect your dates in any way.

HAHA! I am pretty proud of this idea as well :) We're having our bachelor/bachelorette parties in Mexico so it's more like a fun weekend and Vegas with a random legal wedding thrown in. I'm looking forward to buying my 3rd dress for this!

I don't know yet when I'm going, I was thinking of going a month or two after my wedding, whatever works but that summer just for the weekend. I'll totally let you know when we figure it out :)

I just saw this too... I freaked out for a moment and then realized this is probably to deter people from always "on their honeymooon" and getting free stuff.

Playing dumb and not knowing and holding up your wedding dress in it's bag once at the next resort may help this case :) I'm not worried about it!

hey girls!!

I wanted to drop a note about the witnesses, Nicole, correct me if im wrong, But for us girls getting married legally, if you do not have 4 guest there for your bloodtest, aka witnesses, they will provide them for you, but for $20 per person? Andrea, maybe you and your fi can be some witnesses for me!!! :) I bet our test are back to back...

I dont think we have anyone coming down that day, most of our guest are ariving Thursday... And the test are on Wednesday.

No, you don't need witnesses for the blood tests. Your witnesses are for the ceremony, so when you have your meeting with the WC your witnesses bring their paperwork and sign a few papers. No big deal. If they aren't there the day you have your meeting then I'm sure they can just go to the office whenever and sign them. THere's always someone there.

Thats so crazy nicole, I swear Tiffany told me the witnesses have to be there for bloodtest 3buisness days before ceremony. Im going to look thru my emails?

But Hey, thats even better if they dont. I just dont want to mislead any wrong information.

When you meet with the WC witnesses bring paperwork? Where/when do they get paperwork. Dont you meet with the WC the day you arrive?
