Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

I found this website for floating lanterns to use in the pool for the Plaza Zavas receptions. I saw the lanterns were $200 for 12 from Weddingsbylomas. You cant put their submersible tea lights and they come in different colors other than white. I think these might be nice to use. Here is the website.

This website even has stringed lights.

Hello Fellow Brides,

My wedding date is June 21 2015. Ceremony will be Sky deck and they also agreed to let me have a cocktail hour there. The reception will be at Plaza Zavas. I have asked my guests to wear white or shades of white. I don't know why I just love that look. I hope it looks as nice as it plays out in my mind. I have sooo many ideas that I am overwhelmed. I am sure you feel the same. I decided on bringing my own paper lanterns to hang. I see some brides have suggested using paperlanternstore.com.  But I also want to do string lighting outside of the gazebo area. Does anyone know how many strands I need and how many feet they should be?  THANK YOU!

Hello ladies.

I had a question in regards to rooms. Those of you that have been there, what room would you recommend for my FI and I? A lot of people mentioned they got a free upgrade once they arrived. I didn't know if I should go less expensive (so we can put money toward other parts of the wedding) and plan on that or just go with a room in the adults only section. Also, my travel agent told me that in order to go in the adults only section you have to stay in that section. Do any of you know if that is true? I though you could go anywhere except the premiere section. That was a big reason we picked this resort. Any help would be great. Thanks! ~Laura

You can go into the adults only section - just not with kids. You are correct in that Premier is the only section that has a stipulation.

All the rooms are nice... Even the Jacuzzi Jr which is their standard room. Some perks are only eligible with a minimum room category so make sure you are aware! They will upgrade you whenever possible when a bride, and they provide a second room for your FI the morning of the wedding to get ready so you don't have to worry about being cramped to prepare or seeing him if that's not something you wish to do.

We were married in June 2014 and had a swim up room in the premium section. It was fabulous! We really enjoyed the checkin with the pillow menu and aromatherapy selections. Most of our free time was spent relaxing in the private jacuzzi next to the swimming pool. However, don't count on getting a free upgrade. A couple of my guests got one but it all depends on what is available when you checkin.

Hi! I'm actually arriving on the 21st, my wedding is Thursday evening. :) Plaza Zavaz has 6 poles, about 10-12 feet high I believe. I would purchase 6 strands. Not sure what others have done but if you purchase packs with 100 lights each that should be plenty! I would check the Official Azul Sensatori thread.
