Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

@@JMK923 thank you so much for sharing your beautiful wedding photos! The pure glamour is really stunning! Love seeing it in a real wedding (not photoshopped on the internet) but it does look the exact same as advertised!

Does anyone else feel that photographers/videographers and DJs are really expensive?

I thought the DJ was well priced and comprible to a DJ here at home.... The photographers took some time to find the perfect one but again- for the amount of time they take editing and shooting the wedding I didn't mind spending the money. We unfortunately cut a videographer out of the budget.. Because it seemed like a nice to have but not a requirement. It all adds up for sure!!

Lol! @@kmk2016

I totally hear you... It was honestly a last minute decision. I just kept thinking about how beautiful the ceremony pictures would look (which was most important to me) so I decided to splurge on the package. However, I brought the majority of my reception decorations down with me (chair sashes, paper lanterns, string lights, etc.) which helped me justify spending the money a little bit! Lol

Oh, and @@CharBec - I found these professional pictures too which show the entire setup! Obviously, the sun was setting in these pictures so the colors are still appearing a bit darker but in the sunlight they are much more sheer.

Hopefully I get to see pics one day soon..still counting to get to 150 :(

I felt the DJ pricing was a lot. It made since for me to just play to fly a DJ to Mexico. The room and flight was less than the resorts charge.

DJ can bring all of his equipment on the plane with him and he didn't charge me because he got a free vacation.

Really? We are going with the DJ that's $1000 and then an extra hour for $150. We don't need them to act as an MC since we want someone who knows us to introduce the few speeches etc... Our package was $2000 from Canada in February, so add on rental and there is no way I could have brought someone from home. Even if we flew one in on a flight and paid hotel separate for 3 nights it would have been almost double what we are paying. The brides seem happy with resort DJ offerings at least so I don't have to worry! (I also plan on giving them a list of must play songs!)

@@JMK923 thank you for posting! I'm glad I can finally see what these packages look in real life rather than the pictures the hotel provides. It really looks beautiful. We're doing it the other way around. We chose the vintage elegance package but for the reception tables and we're bringing our decor for the ceremony. I'm hoping that the view from the sky deck will be beautiful enough so that the decor will not become as important haha. We just added two small flower arrangements (the ones attached to the gazebo) and I really would like the chandelier but I just can't convince my fiance :P.

Hi lovely ladies,

I have a question for previous brides who have used lanterns, whether or not adding led lights inside the lantern is practical or not. Do you get to see the glow from the led lights or is it overpowered by the surrounding lights. And do they hang the lanterns over the perimeter of the gazebo or inside the gazebo as well? I am trying to figure out how many lanterns to buy, i read 20-25 in previous post, just wanted to confirm. Thank you

Eli

We didn't use LED lights and I thought it turned out very nice. However, I bet LED lights would look pretty too. We had 20ish lanterns that were 3 different colors and different sizes.

I have asked and showed my coordinator a few pictures regarding the lighting at Plaza Zavaz. Putting aside any lighting you might have added to the pavilion, what other lighting is standard?

hey

Just wondering if any of your husbands to be are wearing a navy suit?

I chose my dress a while back and it is the colour "blush" - a very light peach colour, only slightly Different from ivory.

My other half, obviously doesnt know what my dress is like and has purchased a navy, but not too dark blue suit!

I am really not sure if this will go, and I think a navy blue colour on the gazebo is too dark?! Whats your thoughts girls?

I love navy and blush.... Pinterest has a ton of grooms in navy this season with coral, pink and blush flowers as accent. It will look stunning.
