Hello Amylou1983! Congtratulations on your upcoming wedding! I'll give you my advice from past experience as a bride (last year)...

 

Photography - Hands down, del Sol...please see some of the pics from my wedding as well as some underwater trash the dress pics they've taken of brides! They are amazing with their customer service and extremely professional. Their photography is complete art (and hangs on canvas all around my house!)

 

DJ - We went with DJ Mannia and he did a fabulous job. Highly recommend him!

Thanks for the reply.  Photos are brilliant.  You look stunning.  I take it you had to pay the outside vendor fee for DJ Mannia and the photographer?

Oh thank you so much! We did pay the day pass fees but they were definitely worth every penny!

As far as I am aware we have to pay $800 outside vendor fee for DJ Mannia.  I have emailed del sol photography and unfortunately they no longer work in Karisma hotels

Staying positive though for now and hoping I find someone!!

I am pretty sure that Del Sol is on the banned list to Azul S., not sure about Azul Beach though, I would look into it.

 

I have booked Luckie Photography for our up coming wedding in October, and went with DJ Doremixx (I also heard there might be a ban on DJ Doremixx now as well....things to ask your WC)

 

I went with Luckie because the price was right, he seemed super passionate about capturing the day how YOU want it to look, and past brides that used him loved his work.

 

I went with Doremixx over Mannia because of price mainly.  I heard great things about both, but I liked that Doremixx included little favors like balloons/masks etc. for the guests to get down with.

Oh wow, I didn't know what the fee was (as it varies by hotel). I'm sure del Sol could recommend another photographer for you if you ask...just a thought You will find everything you need, we always do (although there's plenty of stress in between!).
