Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

How are you coordinating your welcome party? We want to keep ours super informal (also super inexpensive)...the Thursday before our Saturday wedding. I asked my coordinator about it (and wanting to rent a projector for a quick slideshow), and she only quoted me for the projector, not a per person price or rental fee.

What an eventful fitting you had!!

I'm so glad to hear the changes will make the dress perfect.  Its already a gorgeous dress...so I'm so excited to see how it turns out!

My first fitting is this coming Friday.  It should be easy alterations, but I'm still super nervous about how much it will cost.

Tisha so sorry to hear about the extra $$$ you have to spend, but Im sure the dresses will turn out beautifully.

Where did you ladies buy your shoes?  My dress come in last week, but I need to find shoes so I can get it altered!!

We're not doing a rehearsal dinner. We opted to do a welcome cocktail party for all our guests, so that they can meet each other!

You guys are sooo close, so exciting!smile159.gif

I did the arrangements for my Welcome party with myTA and WC. We picked out the Payala Yoga beach area because we wanted something super laid back. Barefoot Cocktails is what I am branding it. I picked out from the private events banquet kit the Mexican Donkey Cocktail Party and its about $12 a person

Yep, I'm working with a travel agent (haven't mentioned the welcome party to her though). I like the idea of doing it on the beach too...hmm...$12 per person isn't bad. Ok, I'm gonna consider that...I just really wonder if they'd let me set up for a slide show in a "public place" if we're not paying per head to be there.

we are doing a mexican donkey cocktail party (for our welcome party - minus the donkey) - I can't remember off hand how much we paid - but it is all part of the pkg - min order of 5 canapes per person for a minimum of 30 I believe).  The pkg is std - so if you don't have their big event pkg - ask for one (or maybe someone can post - I don't have my e-copy on this laptop) - then you can choose what is best for you and your guests. You can have the party anywhere you want - provided its available! Ours is on the yoga platform.

As for the slideshow thing - who is going to stop you?  esp if you rent equip.  No one is going to stop you from doing a slide show - even if you don't have a formal party.  But who knows- I'm random that way - i would just do it and smile politely afterwards.  What does it cost them and do you need their staff??

Shoes - Micheal Kors - bought wedge heel sandals during last summer sale.  Best deal ever!

Thx for all the great wishes for us Jan brides!

Will post all the details soon!

Cheers, Natasha

Right now we are planning a welcome/rehearsal party on the beach.  Probably BBQ deluxe menu.  Also thinking about hiring a dance instructor for the last hour or two to teach latin dances to our whole group.  Thought it would be fun so we could all do it at the reception the next night.  But still trying to figure it out bc I don't see having 70 people of various ages trying to learn salsa dancing in the sand on the beach.  Don't want anyone to twist an ankle or anything.  I'm wondering how many people could fit on the yoga palapa.

Are you all getting 20% off private events?

Also, they don't still have the donkey, do they?
