So it's official, I have left DW.com and am now with The weddingholiday.com. We will see how it goes. It is soo exciting. In 24 hours i had a quote and booked my 10 seats. So happy with  my decision of changing. I was wondering does anyone who is getting married near the 31st of May want to share a photgrapher with me? Please get back to me. Thanks guys!

Hi!  I just sent you a private message.  I just had some bad experiences with a few of the TA's that are mentioned...but mentioned badly too!  I just found mine to be wonderful.  (so far, and yes, I haven't done much but reserve the spots for the wedding --sky too, and the reception).  But, she was quick to get my date, my rate and my group locked in and never pressured me.

Not sure if someone already answered this but it is the lowest number of nights in the lowest level room. Basically you add up what that would be and deduct from your room cost, meaning that you don't have to stay in the lowest level room you just have that amount given back as a refund after the your stay. That part stinks too...the fact that it is a refund and not a true disocunt but hey it is something. I think we will get about $950 back when it is all said and done. We are staying for a week in the luxury swim up suite (we got a free upgrade too) for about $1200 total after our discount. I think that's a pretty great price.

Ladies, of course I have been MIA....that's because I leave in 4 days!!!! So much left to do but I feel like I finally have a handle on it. I am leaving work shortly and going to pick up my dress. Finally. These alterations have been one disaster after another but hopefully it will be done today so I cross the biggest to-do off the list. Wish me luck.

My TA told me that we needed to come in on Wednesday for a Sunday wedding (symbolic). Seemed like way too much time to waste before the wedding, but they were adamant about it. Oh well, I guess I can't do anything about it now. Just bummed because I would have liked to come in on Thursday or Friday for the Sunday wedding and stay for longer after.

 

We are very lucky that my father has given us a honeymoon in Maui for a week. So, we will come home from Mexico for 3 weeks and then head to Maui for a change of scenery and a real deal honeymoon (without guests).

We got to the resort on Thursday around 2 or 3 and we had our meeting on Friday for the Saturday wedding so you getting there on Thursday for a Monday wedding shouldn't be a problem at all.
 

Oh man, this is great to know. I hear Airtran is having a lot of deals right now. Again, we already booked ours, bad planning on our part, but good to know for guests. I was also researching prices for Decemeber. I hear everyone goes for a "site visit" is that discounted from the TA in any way??

I've been so busy with work, I feel like I'm missing out on a lot of small details I should be doing now. Hopefully, this weekend and next week will be better!
