Website with Custom Photos?

Does anyone know of a wedding website that I can use my own photos as the background/template? I took some amazing photos in St. Lucia where we got engaged and lived in cabo so have tons of Cabo pics that I want to use instead of a generic.

Hi kerryjbrown,
Are you talking about replacing a heading/top bar on a page or actually making the background behind the text a picture?

One thing to remember about graphics and website is that the images you see have usually had things done to them so they load quicker. I am not sure exactly how to explain in simple term but it has a lot to do with resolution and scaling. You will need to edit those picture so they are loaded quickly when someone visits your site.

Also a quick edit to the HTML of any page will allow you to display any pictures you want. The catch is that you need to know what to edit. Hope that helps, Carla

I have my wedding website through Create Free Wedding Website - Personal Wedding Web Site - Free Wedding Planning Tools. They have several templates to use, and that come with pics which you can change out. The template I used has the beach and ocean, then there are 3 pics on the one side. I changed the 3 pics to ones we took in the DR last time we were there. Then you can also post some pics on the other pages, as well as the photo album.

Thanks ladies! My bestfriend designs websites but I don't want to bother her to do a custom one for me. She may know how to change them for me as you are saying Carla.

 

I think I will check out the wedding tracker above as I would love to just swap out the main template photos for my photos. Thanks for the advice
