Brides and their wedding dress!

I think I'll be the go with the flow kinda bride. Definetely want to do a TTD in the ocean!!!

I think if you spent allot on a dress or more than you thought you should, you may be more inclined to be a bit obsessive about keeping it clean. Some girls may have thoughts of reselling their dresses to recoup the extra money they spent on it.

 

My dress was cheap and the only thing I cared about was people stepping on it.. it got pretty ripped up towards the end of the night.

 

Heck, I went down the water slide the morning after my wedding if that tells you what kind of bride I was!

Besides, the dresses I've seen AFTER a good relaxed shoot may have looked a little "dirty" but in the photos, they all look beautiful regardless. So what your hem gets dirty, it will anyway. And if this thing that most brides pay over a grand for can't stand up to at LEAST some smudges, then it wasn't worth the money.

 

So ofcourse my opinion is trash that sucker! It's not like I'm gonna wear it on date night to the movies. Those who plan on wearing it a second time for another ceremony or reception, I can understand...but that's not the average situation.

Ha I'm totally laid back. I'm only going to wear it one day. I know some people keep theirs in hopes that maybe their daughter will wear it one day. Honestly, I hate my mom's dress and would never wear and more than likely my daughter will probably be the same about mine. I plan on rolling all over in the sand with it!

I know eh? I mean I'm all for sentimental, but I'm also realistic about the fact that I don't want to wear my mom's from the 70's and my daughter prob. wouldn't want to wear mine either because it'll be dated by then.

Also from a photographer's perspective, it's so much better when the bride just goes with the flow and is outgoing during the shoot, which always earns high praise from me! One of the last few brides I had couldn't wait until she could get her shoes off and walk around in the sand. And we even did the groomsmen portraits right in the water with their pant legs rolled up, haha!
