Paradisus Punta Cana Brides

Is there anyone getting married at the Paradisus this July? I finally heard from the new WC since Viviana is gone and its been very challenging changing things and trying to get the best out of everything for our money. The invoices are much higher than I anticipate and it just seems very unorganized.

Just wondering if anyone is getting the same thing as I am.

 

Any past Paradisus Punta brides out there or any coming up - please respond - I would like to know how the invoicing goes when you get there or do you pay in advance or do they bill you afterwards!!! 16 days to go and counting down!!!

Im getting married at the Paradisus Palma Real on July 21st. So first i worked with kelly now i am working with Vivianna. I received my invoice about a week ago. I was surprised that it was correct! There are a few decisions that i still have to make and Vivianna said i have until a week before the wedding. I thought that Kelly told me that i pay when i get there but i honestly dont remember and i would have to go thru the emails. I do plan on taking every email with me so that they have to honor what they quoted.

Who is the new WC? Was she Vivianna's assistant or someone brand new

Wow -- Viviana wasn't there very long.

 

She never emailed me an inoice, but I recommend getting one before you go.

 

Anyway, you have to pay the invoice BEFORE the wedding. I think that's good b/c there are no surprises afterwards.

 

Now, while Viviana was my WC via emails and upon arrival, another gal handled everything the day of the wedding and for the reception. I don't remember her name but she was very nice.

 

And although it does seem unorganized, everything came together spectacularly for us.

I am getting married there in October. Viviana has been amazing...never taking more than a day to get back to me. Now, with the new WC (Miguelina), I get no replies. You are completely right, everything seems unorganized and when I FINALLY got her on the phone, she seemed....annoyed? that I had even called. We already have 31 people with their rooms booked...not like I can change it now. I'm sure everything will be great...she's probably very overwhelmed right now. I am anxious to hear all about your wedding in July...have you ever been there before?

I'm getting married at PPC on July 11. I haven't really communicated with the new WC, since all my arrangements were finalized through Viviana. I guess I should send the new girl an email summarizing our plans to ease my mind, though I'm concerned that some of you haven't had good luck with her!

Hello - I am finally hearing more from Miguelina now - probably because it is getting close to the date -. It takes her a couple days to get back to me but she did call once by surprise and I called her once and she was very responsive. Even asking her for an appt on my arrival date and her confirming it made me much more at ease - at least I know I have that time reserved with her when I get there if nothing else gets done in the meantime.

 

I keep making her send me the invoice and then I keep correcting it. I emailed her immediately after recieving Viviana's goodbye email and she and Yadilis assured me ( a week later!) that she was the one that took care of everything anyway and I probably wouldnt have really seen Viviana once I got there.

 

I asked her in the email to send me an invoice of what she had already based on the file left for her without saying anything else and when she did it was 7500.00! So much for the keeping it simple with "chill out chic" package! The taxes on the invoice are different from the calculator and are listed 26% per item. I am glad I did that because it forced me to change my thinking about the whole thing and I was able to get the invoice down significantly and very much happy with my new plans.

 

So, yes - I suggest emailing her and asking for your invoice from her with your vision implemented so far and then start making your changes through the invoice - it really puts closure just knowing.

the taxes at the ppr are 26% too, i think it includes gratuties.

Don't worry girls- She is very , very nice. She was at my wedding in April. She is a little slower than viviana, but it will come together. She just sent me an email that my wedding lic was in the office and going to be fed ex out. She was very fast to my replies. Worst case you could call viviana at the palma real.
