We got one RSVP back with no name, no checks, no numbers?? What did they do just put it in the mail back to us expecting it to be telepathic notice? Maybe it was written in invisible ink? I should check!
This is too funny!

I'm starting to regret not doing RSVPs. They sounds kind of amusing.

lol...I just got a blank one in the mail yesterday. I have no clue who it is from. I am hoping it is his grandfather who is in a nursing home and may not have known what to do. I am now wishing I had numbered them on the back in pencil so I would know who it was from.

I feel your pain. I will be the most diligent RSVP responder after this experience!

The funny thing is Amy on the forum had the same problem and I remembered saying I would mark all the cards with invisible ink. Well...I completely forgot and sent them out with the ink. LOL!

I think we are all just smarter than the outside world. Wedding planning must increase brain cells. I sent out message in a bottle invites and virtually no one opened it. I didn't know i needed to include a note in the box that said "OPEN ME!" 1 of the GM thought it was a gift- why would I send you a bottle of sand as a gift?? And who wouldn't be curious about what was written on the scroll inside?

Anyhow, i think your RSVP is cute.

LOL, one of my BM's received a message in the bottle invite and said she wasn't going to open it cause she felt they were too cute. Inside I said you need to open the dang bottle...but I refrained.

So the drama continues...my mom got a phone call from family that they are very confused and how dare we expect people to pack beach chairs. Seriously, people!! Ugh!

Anyhow, I sent an email out to everyone who has not RSVP'd yet. Here it is:

Hi everyone,

We hope this message finds you well.

Our wedding invites have been sent out earlier this month. It seems that there is a little confusion with the RSVP cards. We used a metaphor regarding the beach chairs. You do not have to bring your beach chairs to Puerto Vallarta. We are so sorry this caused confusion to many. It was not our intention at all.

If you plan on joining us for our wedding celebration please mark "You are bringing your beach chairs". If you are not able to join us please mark "Your beach chairs are occupied."

I hope people get it now! Mercy!!!
