Yes, I did a AHR in CO two days before Christmas. It was pretty small. But I did DIY decorations and all that for it. I didn't wear my dress b/c it was so cold, but then again I did have another AHR in my hometown in AL and I did wear my dress. I definately think a meetup would be cool! But since you all live in Denver I'd need to know ahead of time b/c it's 6 hours to denver!!! HAHAH.

Hi Everyone! I found this thread by typing "Durango". I am looking for possible wedding reception sites/facilities in Durango, CO for next summer. I had originally thought of having a destination wedding in Mexico, but I started getting a lot of grief from some extended family members so I am on the search again. My fiancee is from Aztec which is about 30 miles south of Durango, so I'm just trying to find out some info about Durango & what facilities are available. If you can help, I'd really appreciate it!

I live right outside durango, but I am new to the area so I don't know much about wedding sites. I can look into it and let you know. I know it is beautiful though so I'm sure theres something.

Thanks sooo much! I'd really appreciate it! Durango, CO and the areas around there (Ouray & Silverton) I've visited and it is absolutely breathtaking. I'm from SW Texas and hadn't seen snow since I was 6, so seeing those placing in the winter was AMAZING! You live in a beautiful place! Thanks again.
