This is insane.....Let's remember people that a destination wedding, doesn't always mean INTERNATIONAL wedding. If someone lives in Maryland and they decide to get married in California, that would be considered a destination wedding. I think the fees are absolutely insane and the sad part is 3 airlines are scheduled to follow United. And I read that it's even more for the 2nd and 3rd bag. If we would have gotten married in the US, I don't know how we would have made it, because we traveled with 11 pieces.....yes you read correctly.......11 pieces!! LOL

Girl, you are so right about that! When we left for our wedding, we had 8 bags! I had my family carry 2 and we were able to check 6 only cuz we flew first class.
