Help! The color I print for my STDs is different than whats on my screen!

I had this same problem a couple of weeks ago! Looked great on my screen but then did not print the way i wanted at all! I just really had to play with the colors and do a couple of test prints. for example, I wanted a lime green to print looked great on my screen but printed really dark. So i had to adjust the green to something that I really did not like at...but it printed then the way i wanted!

maybe you work printer is just crappy. I wouldn't worry about what is printing out there since you say that's not where you are printing the final ones. Ask the print shop you plan on using to print you a sample.

Too bad i'm not near you I have a PMS book you take a gander at.

Try calibrating the monitor first. Also if you end up looking for a PMS book it is most likely Kinkos will not have one since they really don't print on presses, you will have to go to a real printer.
