Hey everyone!! I just thought I'd pass along---- a couple of my friends have donated their wedding dress to this cause. It is a "legit" cause and makes it possible for your amazing dress to be enjoyed and loved by another bride, as well as helps the battle against breast cancer.....

Also, you can buy wedding favors, place holders, keepsakes, etc from the website and the profits go toward the charity...

 

A bride can even buy a donated dress from the charity (if you are looking for a dress) and the proceeds go toward the fight against breast cancer!

Very very nice.

 

At the bridal shower for my nephew's fiance, the hostesses made a generous donation to beast cancer research in lieu of giving shower favors to all the guests. The MoB is a breast cancer survivor. Instead we all recieved pink ribbon pins. I appreciated it much more than yet another candle.

I've had my first wedding dress (this will be my second marriage) boxed up ready to be mailed to them for months, thanks for the reminder!

My girlfriend bought her dress from them. Its beautiful. I bunch of us have been doing the two day 40 mile Avon walk for breast cancer for a few years now. I took the year off though to plan my wedding!! This year a bunch of my girl freinds are doing the LA Beach walk in Septmember.

Remember girls when you donate them you can use them for a tax write-off. Also you can donate your flowers to local hospitals and use that as a write-off and brighten someones day!

I just saw this on WE today!  What an amazing cause!  I've been bummed about spending all this money on a dress and then it just sitting in a closet somewhere doing what?!  Now it can actually help someone!  And it's a charitable contribution on your taxes - what do you have to lose?!  They have a show in my town later this fall, so I don't even have to ship it - everyone should check this out!
