Mayan Riviera Jan '09

I'm new here, obviously!

 

I am so relieved to have found this site! This is exactly what I need...

 

We're from Vancouver, BC. Our wedding will be in the Mayan Riviera the week of Jan 24 or 25 2009. It seemed so far off just a few months ago and now I'm freaking out! I'm trying to find the best deal at a nice resort. So far the ones in my budget (or rather what I'm assuming is my guests' budgets) are the Bahia Principe ones and the Gran Riviera Princess (but am not too impressed with their reviews on Tripadvisor!). I'm waiting for a quote on the Palladium resorts.

I'm from Vancouver as well and the two resorts we were deciding between were the Bahia and the Palladium! We decided on the Bahia Tulum and are getting married there October 28th.

Welcome! I was really happy I found this site too. I was down to a couple of resorts same as you concerned about prices, mainly for our guests since we want the important people to come. After reading reviews on here of weddings we chose the Gran Bahia Akumal. Do a search on Gran Bahia and you will find some good info on the resort. Any questions just let me know Good Luck!
