How early did you ask?

I had the same question. I am a 2010 bride as well and am still toying with when it is best to ask....I am thinking sooner is better than later.

I got engaged Dec 15th and asked a few weeks later. Like the other girls said, I was so excited!! Plus, I already knew who I wanted for sure- my sister, and Joe's two sisters. Good luck!

I asked my girls about a month after...I could have done it sooner but I was waiting for FI to decide who his guys were going to be. He still hasn't decided though, so I went ahead and asked my 2 girls anyway! We'll likely have an uneven number on each side but I'm OK with that. Better than adding someone you don't want or taking away someone important just because you "have" to, IMO.

I asked my girls 3 weeks after......The FI has only asked the bestman so far... He wants to know who is coming before asking.

I am glad you asked this questions as FH and I have not discussed attendants yet but I can feel the girls circling waiting for me to ask and am feeling guilty....
