Can anyone tell me if they have been there? I am thinking about having my wedding there in May 2009...it will be for about 25-30 people. Any advice or tips would be great

We stayed at Aventura Palace last summer and went to Playacar Palace for a day to go shopping at Playa del Carmen. We had lunch there and hung out by the pool. We did not see any of the wedding areas, but the restaurant was nice and the pool is beautiful, with a little glass area between the pool and the ocean. The hotel is much smaller than the Moon Palace and is located in the middle of Playa del Carmen, but it is beautiful and right in the middle of all the action.
