For you ladies that did DIY passport invitations, what kind of paper did you use for the inserts? I'm going to use envelopments folded cards for the outside but for the inside I want something not as thick but also not see thru. I printed a mock up at work on regular paper and I can see the stamps from the next page and I don't like that. You know what I mean? And I think if I do cardstock it will be too thick, but regular paper is too thin. Is there a happy medium?

Thanks :)

I used a heavyweight (24lb) paper and had no see-thru problems at all.

If your office is like most, they probably use a 20lb weight because it's cheaper.

You can get a ream of 24lb or 28lb paper for less than $10 at Staples.
