Wedding Dress Monogram

Did any of the married or soon to be married ladies monogram their dress? If so what type of fabric did you use or did you just monogram the dress directly? I have seen it done in a couple of magazines, but I want to know if anyone has actually done it.

Thanks for the sites. I just might have it done locally. I think I might buy a large piece of ribbon and have it monogrammed and then have my mother sew it on to the dress.

oh good idea, that might be a lot cheaper and then you can pick your own font.

Yeah, that is what I was thinking. Also I can do it in a blue thread. Kind of sticking with the tradition of something "new", something "old", something "Blue". Along those lines.

exactly what I was thinking. let me know if you get it done on your own, I would love to see how it works. my first fitting appointment is in a few weeks I might ask the seamstress if they do that there.
