here is the "cake" for our AHR.  Mom made the cupcakes and I did the chocolates for the top. dad made the tower.

Wow, there are some beautiful and creative cakes here!  I found this one on-line which is my inspiration - hopefully mine will look just like it except with navy ribbon and blue dendrobium orchids.  The florist is providing the flowers but I have to provide the ribbon and I'm having some trouble finding the different widths.  Luckily I have time.
