Thanks! I enjoyed growing up overseas but I also missed out on a ton and felt really out of place in the US when we finally returned. All that said I wouldn't change it for the world! Had it not been for my military upbringing I may have never met my FI (high school sweethearts)! I feel very blessed to have had the opportunity and it has helped mold me into the person I am today. As for work, we are always traveling to meet with vendors and visit factories and such so I try as much as possible to take full advantage of the trips; even if I'm exhausted after a long day, I still drag myself out somewhere to experience the culture.

I haven't been many places. But, as soon as my son graduates from high school (3 years and counting) I can start traveling again for my job!! We lived overseas (Netherlands) for a year when he was 13yrs-14yrs old. However, he didn't adjust well in the schools (11 classes, including 2 foreign languages) and missed family. Hmmm...thinking now. It was great we came back cause my FI and I went from friends, to dating, to engaged! Sweet!
