Thanks for your help.
I would send Chandlyn an email asap to book the seagrape. People book months in advance since there could be 3 weddings on the same day. I am getting married in Sept and requested the Poolside back in Jan. U can always change your mind. You don't pay for anything until u are in Jamaica and meet with Chandlyn in person.

I agree with Scott-Pierre. Book as far in advance as you can! Get your TA to help you with this if necessary. My wedding was May 9th, and I think that we had my poolside reception booked the July or August before. Also, keep in mind, if there is a beach party that night, you can't use SeaGrape, since that is where the beach party takes place. I know someone else on here had a makeshift reception area set up on the beach because they could not use SeaGrape, but it seems to me that sometimes they make the exception, and sometimes not.

Good luck to all of you luck ladies!! Time flies!

I am also having the private beach reception with the semi-private dinner in a restaurant beforehand. I tried to get the private poolside reception but it was already booked for that night. We are a smaller group (20 people), and I'm wondering if anyone has pictures of the beach set up for the reception but who wasn't having dinner there? We won't be eating, so I can't picture what it will look like - will I really need any tables set up if there's no food being served? Also, I've heard mixed reviews on the bonfire - for anyone who had one, was it worth it? Would you do it again? If anyone can help me out with picturing how all this will be, I would really appreciate it!

I am not sure if this link will work, but it is a link to a review by klopez. She did the beach reception, after a semi-private dinner at Mammee Bay, and had some really nice pics posted.

If the link doesn't work, search under the wedding reviews for "ROR Review: Jan 19-26" by klopez. She wrote a really thorough review. Hope this helps! :)

My opinion about the bonfire: it looks awesome in pics!
