Flower girl basket/bucket alternative

My cutie niece is going to be my flower girl in my wedding and I wanted her to actually be able to toss rose petals on her way down the aisle but started thinking how I am going to get a bucket/basket in my luggage with everything else I am bringing! Well found this on line and thought I would share. It looks like it is easy to pack and you could add any color ribbon to match your wedding colors and like I said it looks easy to pack!!!!!! and even easy to sew if you or someone you knows can DIY.

I like the idea but if I am honest, I would prefer it to look at little more fancy

It's a great alternative, if you don't like the bucket. We had two flowergirls and buckets, and they were honestly no problem to pack. I just packed stuff IN them and it worked out fine.

The cone is a cute alternative. Our daughter will have a bucket, but we are going to pack things in it to save space.

 

When my daughter was a flowergirl in Cuba a couple years ago, my mom made a little cloth basket type thing that was very simple to pack. I will see if I can find a pic.

we took a bucket for my niece and it packed just fine. it was cute having her with a bucket at the beach.

We used a childs size sombrero. It was so cute we turned it upside down and put the rose petals in it. It was a blue authentic Mexican sombrero so it wasnt one of those straw cheezy ones, it really looked nice.
