my birthday is may 25th and our wedding date is may 26th 2009 @ dreams tulum. im stressed out havent sent out save the dates or invites yet. we have 10 guest booked. we will send out std's in 2 weeks.

Buy my dress and FIs suit

Send out STDs

Book our airfare

Put deposit down for accomodations

Start buying OOT bags... (I got 21 trial size Tylenols for $2!!! I love coupons!)

Started on a DIY veil

Got some fans from a former bride

Website is up and running...

 

Things I plan on starting SOON!

Invites

Pick out MOH, jr BM and flowergirls dresses

Finish my veil

Start a registry for the hell of it, we dont expect many gifts from anyone, maybe our immediate fam

LOSE WEIGHT!

OMG!! I really need to focus!! my son gets married this saturday the 13th and then i can focus on my wedding!! I have 3 dresses to pick from and keep going back and forth and cant decide! cant decide whether diy invites or just buy them already done? i want to sceeeeeaaammmmmmmm!!!!

I don't really have too much done, but I just wanted to say hello to all my fellow Memorial Day brides! I'm getting married May 22, 2009 at the Grand Palladium resorts in Puerto Aventuras.

 

So far, I have bought my dress, sent out STDs, booked the resort and wedding package, and... thats about it. I really need to get in gear! I almost have a photog picked, but its so hard to decide!

Hey gals! Isn't it crazy that our day is less than 6 months away!!! I have no idea what else I should be doing. I am finishing our invites this week and they will be out in the mail next week.

I can't believe we're under 6 months already! For the longest, it seemed so far away...

 

Here's where I am so far:

 

DONE

Bought my dress (and now trying to sell it...)

Found a new dress (debating whether to just buy it)

Booked photographer (who did our engagement pics too)

Created wedding website

Sent out Save-the-Dates

Booked our airfare & accomodations

Booked our honeymoon

Started working out 2x week & watching what I eat

 

NEED TO DO

Finalize menu (has been difficult hearing back from the resort due to changeover in staff)

Figure out music (they raised the prices at the resort)

Do invitations

Once I figure out the dress situation, determine veil/hair jewelry

Get my bridesmaids to buy their dresses

Create a mini-registry

Maybe do programs, fans

Figure out favors

Once we know how many are coming, figure out how much we want to spend on OOT bags

 

(okay, that kind of seems like a LOT! )

May 24 2009 bride here. Getting married at Fiesta Americana, Cabo.

So much left to do, it seems like we get 5 things done and add 10 more to the list daily! LOL.

 

Already done:

Photographer, Videographer, dress, rabbi, rehearsal dinner location, website, booked hair, working with a WC

 

need to do:

DJ, decor, finalize food/alcohol, find FI outfit... list goes on

Hey Memorial Day Weekend Ladies! Only 4.5 months left until the big day!

 

So I need some advice...

 

How early are you sending out your invitations? When are you requesting to have the RSVPs back by? Right now I am desperately trying to hurry up and figure out invitation stuff, and I have no idea what to do! I can't even figure out my invites wording!! HELP!!!!

I'm planning to send mine out by early February, requesting RSVPs by mid-April.

I sent my invites out in the beginning of December and requested an RSVP of February 1st... I only sent out about 20 invites, most of which are family and I have received ZERO RSVPs back... and 7 people are already booked!
