I Quit MY Job Yesterday. Yaaaaayyyyy!!!!!

I feel so liberated right now that its not even funny. My FI is a little ticked with me but he'll get over it. Well let me tell you about my former job (oh that feels so good to say). I worked at a dry cleaners part time in the day putting together clothing orders. It sounds easy but it can get complicated if you put clothes with the wrong order. Ok well for starters I couldn't stand my bosses. The owner was a huge jerk. He used to snatch things out of my hands, he wouldn't speak to me, he was pretty much a . Ok my other boss was his girlfriend and she was even worse. First off she's an alcoholic. This woman would come into work smelling of alcohol every day which is totally unprofessional. She felt like she could talk to me and every one else any kind of way since she was the boss's girlfriend. To sum her up in one word she was trash. So over the past few months things just started to get worse and worse. My bosses became more disrespectful, my coworkers were getting on my nerves, not to mention it was hot as hell in there and messing with my asthma. So yesterday I just couldn't take it any more and left. I clocked out and rolled out of the front door. I get half way home and one of my co-workers text me and calls me a fake b**** and that I should have said something to her. She's not my boss I don't have to say anything to her. I really had to stop my self from seriously hurting her feelings. Instead I remained a lady and told her not to text me any more. These past 6 months have been nothing but drama drama drama. One thing after another and I am relieved that I don't have to be there for it any more. I feel GREAT right now. ! I feel like I am on top of the world. I am so glad to be away from the negativity I was faced with every day. On the downside I don't have a job anymore but I have some money stashed away and a job interview tomorrow and another on Friday. Thanks for letting me vent. Wish me luck ladies!!!!

YAY! I am doing the same thing tomorrow!!! I am nervous and excited. I hate my job. I use to love it... I have been there almost two years but the boss is running it into the ground and I have to deal with all the crap. I hope I feel as good as you when I am done.. wish me luck and YAY FOR YOU!

Good luck!!!! I used to love my job too but that faded very quickly. I was going to quit months ago when my doctor told me it wasn't good for my asthma but I decided to stick it out because I needed the money. But I finally had enough and I walked out. You will do fine tomorrow. It's not working out and you deserve better. Trust me you will feel great and again good luck!!!!

My job really made me miserable too. I used to get so stressed and it feels so good to know that I don't have to be stressed like that anymore.
