What is everyone doing for the holiday weekend? (U.S. girls)

I must say I am very glad it is now the "official" start of summer! I love summer!

 

 

So i spent the last 2 days in Santa Fe with my mom looking for new furniture and things for my parents new house...kinda fun, not really my cup of tea but I rarely get to spend that amount of time with my mom so it was cool.

 

Went to my little cousin's graduation BBQ last night when we got back...not too fun. Today and tomorrow will be chill and low key! I can't wait! Oh well actually now that I think about it, I should probably start cutting out my boarding pass STD's that I have been working on!

Its dreary, overcast and completely grey outside here in central IL. My FH is out of town til this afternoon, and my mom just had knee replacement surgery last week. Doesn't look like my family will be doing the usual cook out get together. We may pull something off last minute, but I doubt it. Ho hum..

Both hubby and I are sick (coughing and colds) so we chilled yesterday but today is my b-day and we are going out to dinner. Oh and seeing the new Indiana Jones movie.

Hubby is making me breakfast right now! Mmmm french toast.

i think everyone knows what i am doing! we thought we'd spend the weekend in sunny northern california. but we actually are going toa friends house for dinner tonight, which will be nice.

We're going out to a movie with friends tonight, but I have class tomorrow and he has to work all weekend. :-(
