The pictures I posted a few posts back that you commented on is their version of square. Kind of has rounded corners, but it is a square cake.

I did that for an entire week. :) ahhh, the beach life. Anyway, most of my guests are at the Tropical or Colonial, so where should we do breakfast? Here is what my invitation says so far:

To: The Mother of the Bride

From: the Bride

What: Bridal Breakfast

When: Saturday, July 3 ~ 9:00am

Where: huh.gifhuh.gifhuh.gif?

Why: to start the wedding day off with some fun

The aptly named Tropical Buffet or Colonial Buffet will probably be the only ones open for breakfast. (I don't think Palmeras or Mariachi are open that early, I think it is just for lunch. Their buffets aren't as extensive anyway but fab for lunch!). Both are super nice and serve pretty much the same selection. You may want to have someone go a bit early to make sure you get a big enough table depending on how many people you have. Since you most likely wont be able to make reservations, it would be nice to have someone there with the table set and ready to go when everyone else arrives.

Why don't you do the one tier and add a cute cake topper and some flowers? That way at least you will have a keepsake, and not just a layer of wedding cake to be thrown away. If you don't want to pay for extra flowers, you could has someone disassemble one of the bm's bouquets and just use some blooms around the base.

Here's a pic of our cake

I brought the cake topper of the two hearts, and the blue flower petals. I love what they did with it. I didn't actually ask for them to put the petals on the cake, just gave them to our wedding coordinator and asked her to incorporate them in our wedding somehow. I was so happy with the cake, and we actually had quite a few people eat a piece! But still the 1 tier was good enough, and we had 53 guests. I was never picky on the cake and didn't care it was only a 1 tier though.

Yep! You're right!

And I forgot to mention that everyone who had a piece LOVED the cake.

Here are our photos that I uploaded to facebook. We have 1150 photos from our photographer so it was very hard to go through them all and decide which ones to put up! And it took me forever! hahaha. You need to have a facebook account to see them I believe

Hair is $77 and makeup is $60. My girls and I are all getting our hair & makeup done at the spa, so I'll post pictures when we get back.
