That;s right. they no longer offer the coral grill for receptions. it is now used as a a la carte restaurant....you can still use one of the other grills though.

Besides the coral beach grill, are there any other open air grills?

Right now I believe it would be Palmeras at the Tropical or Mariachi at the Colonial. The Caribe/Beach is closed for renovations right now but not sure about the beach bars there.

I think Carey bar is only not available whilst the Caribe/Beach side is undergoing renovations so they can use it as a restaurant. This bar was closed for reno's the whole week I was there, October 3-10, 2008. But I understand it is open now.

The Marina Bar is closed down and they are renovating, it will supposedly reopen as the welcome centre for a new swim with the dolphin program.

I believe the grills are no longer available for receptions. I have asked but haven't gotten an answer yet. Let me know if you hear differently!

Hi Everyone, I was orginally thinking of having my wedding at the Bahia Principe, now I'm leaning more towards the palace. If anyone has any pictures of the grilles I would love to see them too. Thanks!
