Ladies, So I'm getting conflicting information from my TA and reading reviews here about dining option.  Does it still hold true that if you book at the Maya Beach/Caribe you can only dine at the buffets and restaurants at beach/caribe? If you book at the Tropical/Colonial then you can dine at beach, caribe, tropical, and colonial? Then if you book at Palace you can dine at all the below options unlimited?

That is correct.  Guests staying at the Tropical/Colonial can pay a fee of $15 for a Palace restaurant and I think $10 for a Palace buffet.  I don't know what the extra fees are for guests staying at the Beach/Caribe. We did have a welcome happy hour at the Tropical bar and we had to pay $15/person for those staying at the Beach/Caribe - in order for them to be there. The place is huge and we never really saw or hung out with guests staying at the Beach/Caribe so I really highly recommend having all your guests at the Palace or Tropical.

As gilmana said, that is correct. We had a dinner one night at the Palace Brazilian restaurant and they never inquired about our bracelets and two of our people were from the Colonial, we weren't asked to pay the $15 fee per person...so we left the waiter a big tip! We had no issues being at the Palace and most of our guests being at the Colonial...still saw them lots and were able to hang out with them all the time, the colonial/tropical isn't that far if you are able-bodied and ok with walking. the beach/caribe is a fair distance away and has less options to eat/drink at. My recommendation would also be to have guests stay at the tropical/colonial and/or palace.

Can past brides share examples of what your "itinerary" looked like for the couple of days before the wedding for your guests?  I am putting together a rough draft of ours and I am not sure how to go about planning things.  I dont want it to be so scheduled that they feel like they dont get to relax while there but i also dont want them to feel like they traveled for us but are own their own for two days.  Ideas??

I'm thinking of having my guests staying at Tropical/Colonial and Palace only. My guests might want to dine together since it's mainly family and most of them are unfamiliar with traveling such as our parents. So we will have to make sure our parents stay in the same property as us so we can dine together.
