Headed off for the holiday weekend...I'm going to miss my BDW!

So we're off to KC for FBIL's wedding. Wish me luck! It's always a little crazy there. I know his parents must think I'm a raging alcoholic! Whatever it takes, you know...Plus, all the emotion and drama their wedding has caused us, getting married less than 4 weeks before we do. My nerves are a little frayed!

 

I've been so busy trying to clean the house before we leave. My mother is staying over so she can watch the dog. Don't have your mom stay at your house! It is nerve-racking!

 

I've also been working 12+ hour days trying to get things in order to leave work. I've already barely been on in the last 3 days, maily just to check the status of Ann and Nugget. I think another 6 days (we won't be back until Tuesday) without my BDW and I might go crazy! LOL I already have 2653 posts to catch up on! Of course, I could always go hide in the office...

 

What is everyone else doing for Memorial Day weekend?

Have fun Erin. You know I'm sure my in laws think I turned their son into a raging alcoholic. He didn't drink before me and when they arrived at MX, we were at the swim up bar with people chanting "shot! shot! shot!" while DH downed another tequila shot. Their faces were priceless.

 

My parents are visiting this weekend so I have to whip out the q-tips and toothbrushes for cleaning too!

You know what's funny Rachel? After you pointed out how to look up the top posters, I feel like I'm out of the loop and slacking if I'm not in at least one category!

 

I think we decided somewhere in another thread that I really do need to get a life!

haha I don't try to be the top poster on purpose. I just was bored one day and exploring all the forum features. I found it and then I was kind of shocked. I had NO idea I was one of the top posters. I was actually a little embarrassed and then I wondered if I would get fired because WOW...I don't ever work! I sit here typing away and people think I'm really busy with important stuff- well I am, but you know it's certainly not work.
