My name is Karla and my fiancee and I have yet to pick a date for our wedding, we actually just decided we wanted a DW, so I thought I would join to get some info and tips from all of you. We are thinking July 2008 in the Dominican any info on how to get started is welcomed!

Welcome, Karla! I am going to let all of the DR brides help with the specific locale stuff, but the first thing I'd do is start looking at locations to have your wedding. Are you thinking at a resort, or maybe a non-resort wedding? Do you want to be married at an All-Inclusive resort? Would you like a beach wedding, or perhaps indoors or a gazebo? Let us know what you're looking for, and we'll do what we can to help!

well the list goes on and on...how many people would u b expecting? also r u looking for an adults only resort?
