Betsy - thanks for letting me know

We love the Chapel Gazebo and hope that we can reserve it for our civil ceremony.

Do you know when I am allowed to choose my gazebo and terrace for our cocktail reception.

Thanks again ladie . . . this is such a huge help!

I'm pretty sure you can do that after you sign the contract. I would do it as soon as you can, because the spaces book up. We ended up getting a different ballroom than the one I originally chose because I screwed around for a few weeks too long!

Well, I am really happy that things at least worked out for you on your wedding day!
You truly looked beautiful and so happy!!
Can't wait for your review! Will you post it here or in a new thread?
How was the wind?
I'll probably start a new thread...but I'll come over here to let yall know. I'm going to OHIO for work the next 3 days so I'm thinking I will put it up on Tuesday if I get a chance to write it on the plane.

& honestly....I didn't notice the wind at all except for my veil - it was pretty annoying sometimes but they have ideas to keep it down for pics and the ceremony. I'm glad I had it for the pics but it came off right after that... :)

Thanks for the heads-up!

I emailed Katherine Rivera our Wedding Sales Coordinator-MIAMI and requested that I book our gazebo, cocktail reception site and dinner restaurant.

I am awaiting her response and hope that it is a yes!

Katherine's original email stated the following;

" Your onsite wedding coordinator will be in contact with you 3 months prior to the wedding date, that is when you may request optional services and set up your package amenities. I have attached the restaurants list and private function information so that you may select what you would like for when the onsite wedding coordinator contact you."

Has anyone had experience with this?

Thanks again Brides!

We stayed on the Sunrise side and loved it. We all were on the 3rd floor with great ocean views in the Pinata section. My only complaint for the Sunrise side is the size....not for me - but my grandparents. They utilized the carts that will pick you up at all times their entire trip so it ended up working out perfect. No matter where you are it will be a great time!!

You all have so much information, I was just wondering if anybody knows if you have family members who are members of palace, do brides get any perks or how dose that work, because both sets of my grand parents are members. I just don't even know where to start. Mabye its just me but MP website just seams very confusing and not very helpful. Thanks in advance for the info.

My FI's parents are members, but we didn't get any specials, other than the nicer treatment when the guests booked. We had all our guests book with member weeks, so they're all getting the free transportation and massage packages, plus the lower prices, but we as the couple didn't get anything out of it. I didn't even think to ask. The one cool thing is, Moon Palace has a hydrotherapy area and its usually $25 to use, but members can use it anytime for free, so we're going to do a "girls" day there one day. Sorry not much help from me, but if you hear that there other perks, let me know.

Sharla,

Glad to see you back, your pictures are gorgeous, I'm so sticking with the hotel photographer. Can't wait for your review, but I will probably miss it as I'm leaving next week. Sorry you had a bad experience with the WC, but glad to hear everything was perfect. I loved your bouquet, I'm doing the same exact thing, only with white roses instead of red. You looked absolutely gorgeous, I love your hair and your dress.
